Job Summary:

The Solution Architect, D&T, Plan to Produce collaborates with Manufacturing, and Warehouse functions to deliver and support D&T enabled business solutions.  .  This role has primary support accountability for the plan to production processes in alignment with West D&T and company policies and procedures.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understands the overall vision and business needs and utilizes this knowledge to support and collaborate with Manufacturing and Warehouse with D&T enabled business solutions
  • Possesses knowledge and experience in SAP manufacturing and warehouse modules; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills
  • Assist in Resolving support tickets, and defining master data
  • Provide technical delivery of functionality to help meet defined business requirements.
  • Builds knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers with a moderate level of guidance and direction
  • Provide system support and maintenance in alignment with standards and process set within the ERP Services Delivery model, West policies, and procedures as well as Regulatory requirements including but not limited to Sarbanes-Oxley and FDA GMP.
  • maintain system lifecycle documents in accordance with West policies and procedures, including maintenance of Job Aids.
  • Work within and participates in the Change Control process.
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
  • Exhibit regular, reliable, punctual, and predictable attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned with moderate level of guidance and direction

 

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Requires knowledge and experience in SAP – system functionality and understanding of PP and WM/EWM
  • At least 1 end-to-end implementations of SAP ERP
  • Integration experience from MES Systems with SAP a plus.
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor with moderate level of guidance and direction
  • Ability to solve range of straightforward problems in supporting SAP users
  • Understanding of master data
  • Ability to work in a virtual environment in a global organization
  • Proficient English language skills
  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
  • Able to always comply with the company’s safety and quality policy

Physical and Travel Requirements

  • 15% travel, including global travel
  • Occasional on-call work required
  • Prefer 8AM – 5PM US time. Willingness to work outside of these hours as needed.
