Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for the timely calibration, maintenance, qualification, and requalification of laboratory equipment. Additionally, creating deviation reports in a timely manner and implementing necessary corrective actions are part of this responsibility. In the event of malfunctions or failures of testing equipment, you will actively support the re-commissioning as part of the metrology team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Timely commissioning, registration, qualification, maintenance, calibration, and servicing of laboratory equipment or testing devices.
  • Independent support with device problems, initiating repairs, coordinating with external services, and professionally reviewing documentation.
  • Continuously maintaining "state of the art" knowledge regarding assigned equipment responsibilities.
  • Participation in planning and documenting qualifications and validations in collaboration with relevant department heads.
  • Creation and updating of standard operating procedures and handling instructions.
  • Document review according to currently applicable regulations.
  • Maintaining laboratory statistics.
  • Assisting in handling deviation reports regarding equipment and supporting the implementation of required CAPA measures.

Education

  • Successfully completed training as a chemical or biological laboratory technician or as a chemical-technical or biological-technical assistant.

Work Experience

  • Initial work experience in a comparable position is desirable.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent German and good English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Good computer application skills (MS Office).
  • Fundamental knowledge of analytical devices and methods is advantageous.
  • Experience in a GMP-regulated environment is desirable.
  • Reliability, resilience, and teamwork skills.
  • High quality awareness.
  • Above-average service and customer orientation.
  • Careful and independent working style, as well as organizational skills.
