Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for the timely calibration, maintenance, qualification, and requalification of laboratory equipment. Additionally, creating deviation reports in a timely manner and implementing necessary corrective actions are part of this responsibility. In the event of malfunctions or failures of testing equipment, you will actively support the re-commissioning as part of the metrology team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Timely commissioning, registration, qualification, maintenance, calibration, and servicing of laboratory equipment or testing devices.
Independent support with device problems, initiating repairs, coordinating with external services, and professionally reviewing documentation.
Continuously maintaining "state of the art" knowledge regarding assigned equipment responsibilities.
Participation in planning and documenting qualifications and validations in collaboration with relevant department heads.
Creation and updating of standard operating procedures and handling instructions.
Document review according to currently applicable regulations.
Maintaining laboratory statistics.
Assisting in handling deviation reports regarding equipment and supporting the implementation of required CAPA measures.

Education

Successfully completed training as a chemical or biological laboratory technician or as a chemical-technical or biological-technical assistant.

Work Experience

Initial work experience in a comparable position is desirable.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Excellent German and good English language skills, both written and spoken.
Good computer application skills (MS Office).
Fundamental knowledge of analytical devices and methods is advantageous.
Experience in a GMP-regulated environment is desirable.
Reliability, resilience, and teamwork skills.
