Job Summary:
This role is expected to enable trainers, curriculum developers and employees to deliver and improve overall safety, quality, delivery, compliance needs and employee development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with engineers to create & develop training materials and ensure it is aligned with business need compliance, operational and industry standards.
- Develop JIBS (Job Instruction Breakdown sheet) and assessment tools such as theoretical test, with respect to individual skill sets involved.
- Conduct training and assessment in accordance to JIBS training materials.
- Design and develop comprehensive training programs that address skill gaps and improve employee performance.
- Facilitate training sessions using various methods such as classroom training and one-on-one coaching to support employee’s participation.
- Develop metrics to track and evaluate effectiveness of training programs and training outcomes to identify improvements for future sessions.
- Coordinate with department heads and people managers to align training with business objectives by applying specific training needs analysis and implementation process.
- Regularly update training programs to reflect changes in company policies, procedures, and technologies, if there is any.
- Maintain production training documentation, materials and other related items to meet audit, compliance and employees’ training needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Recognized higher NITEC or diploma with 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience
- LSS - White Belt Training
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Able to strictly adhere with all relevant standard operating procedures as per Company policy
- Support and contribute to Lean Six Sigma (LSS) programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
- Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
- Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times
- GMP/GDP Compliance and Application for all work processes, Job-related SOI/WIs, as assigned in Learning Management System (LMS)
- Demonstrate communication, training and leadership skills desired in a role

Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Physical (Medium) - exerting up to 50lb/22kg of force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs/9kg of force frequently, and/or up to 10lbs/4kgs of force constantly to move objects.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually light to moderate. Hearing protection is required.
- Frequently required to stand for long period of time
- Regularly uses hands and fingers to handle and operate machine controls, objects, tools and jigs
- Must be able to understand direction and adhere to established procedures
- 20/30 Vision minimum, at near and/or far with at least one eye with or without corrective lenses and no color deficiency
- Maybe required to work overtime and/or irregular hours and/or on irregular days to complete assignments and meet business need
