Job Summary:
In this role, you will be leading a team of recruiters and working closely with the business leaders and HR Managers to drive the talent acquisition strategy for Asia Pacific region. You will be managing the full cycle of recruitment processes and attract the best talents to West. You will be the subject matter expert to provide expertise advise, support and develop talent acquisition initiatives, analytics and projects.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage talent acquisition strategy to align with overall business goals and objectives.
• Lead and oversee the full recruitment cycle and execute day-to-day recruitment activities (include but not limited to sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, reference checks, offer negotiation), ensuring that all positions are filled in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Proactively build recruiting strategies for candidate pipeline channels, including leveraging technologies, social media and other recruiting resources to identify qualified candidates.
• Work closely with business leaders, hiring managers, HR managers to deliver quality assessment and maintain good experience with potential candidates through all aspects of the recruitment funnel.
• Provide guidance and expertise advice on best practices in sourcing strategy, selection and evaluation techniques and decision making to stakeholders
• Provide coaching and development to the TA team to support business recruitment needs.
• Set team performance goals and metrics, timelines and tracking process to measure the TA performance. 
• Subject matter expert on the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) – review and ensure data accuracy on ATS, train new hiring managers/HR stakeholders involved in recruiting process on the usage of ATS
• Ensure the hiring managers are trained on recruitment processes, policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with Communications team to drive a consistent employer branding and positive candidate experience for West (e.g. career fairs, internships, employee referral program)
• Build and maintain partnership with external stakeholders (recruitment/search firms, government agencies, tertiary institutions)
• Provide talent acquisition related data and analytical support as needed to HR stakeholders.
• Lead and/or participate in global talent acquisition related projects and initiatives.
• Other relevant duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business or related fields
• Minimum 8 years of HR experience with 5 years in the recruiting function in a multinational corporation environment
• Prior experience in recruiting for pharmaceutical, medical device and/or healthcare related industries will be highly advantageous but not mandatory


Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Demonstrated ability to partner with business leaders and identify recruiting strategies to effectively meet business needs
• Experience building, coaching and managing a recruiting team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver against tight deadlines
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities to close critical positions
• Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems
• Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
• Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
• Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
• Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.


Travel Requirements:
• Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time
