Job Summary:

Contributes to our strategic decision-making processes by providing data-driven insights and analytics that support our operations across the Asia-Pacific region. This position will assist in creating an ecosystem that used machine learning to enhance the current demand planning, forecasting, root cause analysis whilst increase efficiency and effectiveness of the sales organization.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, and other analytics tools to aid in business decision-making.
  • Perform deep-dive analyses on large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to our market and operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver comprehensive business analytics solutions.
  • Participate in special projects that support strategic initiatives and business development in the APAC region.
  • Support the development of Sales Forecast (yearly), Marketing Forecast (quarterly) and Sales Budget Forecast (yearly) by incorporating and critically analyzing inputs from Sales, Product Management, and Commercial leadership.
  • Assist in creation of equations and models that identify key revenue drivers, incorporate market trends, thereby providing Predictive analytics during the revenue forecast process. To create a cohesive narrative and insights from data to support Strategic decision making.
  • Continuously improve processes by cross-functionally collaborating to achieve successful deployment of Genesis Transformation and other business improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with IT team and Asia Commercial Team to maintain a specified list of Commercial Master Data to enhance Sales Reporting capability and ensure data quality for business usage.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management that encapsulate findings and recommendations.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Analytics, Statistical analysis, Commercial operations.
  • Degree in Financial Analytics, Math or Mathematical Sciences.
  • Master’s degree will have added advantage.
  • Familiarity with statistical tools and programming languages is an asset.

 

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical skills and inquisitive mindset
  • Able to work independently and collaborate with team members from different functions and countries.
  • Strong communication skills in managing stakeholders.
  • Abilities to manage timelines and deadlines.
  • IT skills (MS office; strong in Excel), SAP-skills (APO, BW), Power BI, Phyton, Tableau
  • Fluent English language skills, spoken and written.
  • Able to be aware of all relevant standard operating procedures as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
  • Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.
