Job Summary:

 

  • Perform preventative maintenance on class #101 injection molds to meet operational requirements. Evaluate and troubleshoot part defects and recommend improvements to enhance injection mold and EOA tooling performance. Provide a wide variety of manufacturing assistance as necessary to support Engineering, Innovation, and Operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform and record preventative maintenance for tools and equipment.
  • Must be able to work shift work to support the business and overtime as requested
  • Must be able to organize and prioritize tasks; must be detail orientated and self-motivated.
  • Help maintain Inventory and monitor storage of all molds and components.
  • Ensures prompt and effective troubleshooting and repair of all tooling related issues.
  • Setup and operate the following manual milling machine, surface grinder to tight tolerances.
  • Make recommendations to improve quality, reliability or efficiency of tools and processes.
  • Observe all company and safety rules and regulations.
  • Keep equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Ensure work is performed in accordance with all current OSHA safety standards
  • Perform other duties as needed to help the business achieve performance metrics.

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 5yrs. hands on experience working with class #101 injection molds.
  • Experience operating toolroom equipment and working to tight tolerances
  • Ability to polish to an SPI A1 finish.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Familiar with MS office and an understanding of SolidWorks & reading detailed tool drawings.
  • Familiar with ISO13485 quality systems.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working in a regulated GMP or GLP environment

Travel Requirements:

  • Maybe required to travel up to 5 % of the time.

 

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to work standing up for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to understand direction and adhere to established procedures.
