This role is hybrid (3 days onsite) in Radnor, PA. Candidates applying must be located within a 50 mile commutable radius to the job location.

Job Summary
In this role, you will be independently providing analytical support for internal and external customers. You will serve as subject matter expert in analysis of applicable area(s) of expertise and provide technical leadership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform analysis using various techniques.
- Be an expert on performance and interpretation on techniques available in the laboratory and make recommendations for improvements.
- Use instrumentation both qualitatively and quantitatively where appropriate. Independently troubleshoot instrumentation
- Manage projects from protocol / work instruction to final report / presentation.
- Train analysts as appropriate.
- Develop and validate test methods.
- Assist with transfer of test methods.
- Keep current with new analytical technology.
- Possess ability to work independently and as part of a team with self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
- Prepare technical reports / presentations based on data from multiple analysts utilizing multiple analytical techniques.
- Prepare work instructions, SOPs, and qualification documentation.
- Prepare lab study designs and prepare study plans and protocols.
- Interact with internal and external clients as needed.
- Willingness to learn and apply new analytical techniques.
- Perform lab investigations, OOS, and OOT as required.
- Meet individual and departmental goals as required.
- Apply internal QA procedures.
- Adhere to established laboratory safety procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in chemistry or closely related field.
Work Experience
- Minimum 3 – 5 Years of experience of analytical testing and instrumentation
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Working knowledge and experience with at least one of the skills below
- Container Closure Integrity
- Physical / mechanical testing such as Instron / Zwick
- Particle Testing (HIAC, particle isolation, filtration and microscopy)
- Dimensional analysis (SmartScope or optical comparators)
- Method development and validation
- Able to comply with all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
- Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
- Able to follow directions, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools and capable to learn other software programs.
- Able to review regulatory code and learn safety standards
