Job Description
Job Summary:
In this role, the Laboratory Technician will work under the direction of the Lab Supervisor, perform engineering, R&D and verification testing activities. The individual will bring excellent analytical, technical, and organizational talent to the execution of development projects at West.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working according to Lab procedures
- Performs and documents engineering, R&D and verification testing activities
- Experienced in the use of laboratory equipment, such as Testometric, Instron, Magnifying Glass, Analytical Balance, Digital Pipette, Viscometer etc.
- Accustomed to using current Good Laboratory Practices and Good Documentation Practices.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and safe work environment.
- Notify whenever test instructions are not clear
- Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Education: Technician\ Practical Engineer- an advantage
- Experience: A similar experience from a medical device company- an advantage
Preferred Knowledge, languages, Skills and Abilities:
- Hebrew- Fluent in Writing, Reading and speaking
- English – Very good level in Writing, Reading
- Technical experience performing testing on medical devices.
- This position requires a highly organized person with work ethic.
- Proficient in MS Office suite including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.

- No travel requirements
Physical & Mental Requirements:
- Must be able to perform job duties as required with limited physical demands.
- Must be able to work assigned shift(s) with overtime as required to complete assignments if necessary.
- Potential handling of biohazard material and components.
