Job summary:

• This role is key to implementing new technology, developing, and introducing process improvements, standards, life cycle management and validation in select process areas, helping to advance and transform West's growing business, supporting capital investments, and contributing to addressing complex assignments. This person will have the opportunity to drive the implementation of new innovative processes and technologies in cooperation with the engineering and quality assurance teams and the plants.

Your responsibilities:

• Participates in making basic elements for standard process development and its improvements.
• Responsible for proposing, evaluating and implementation process improvement projects on quality, service, HSE by using best practice knowledge.
• Participates in SME global and regional teams and harmonization projects and coordinates them locally.
• Evaluate and analyze historical data, create reports and trends in production process performance along with QA/QC.
• Directly involved in introduction of new products and technological methods.
• Develop and implement practices and procedures to improve and standardize production processes to assure profitability, quality, safety.
• Evaluate and recommend “Best Practices” (either of an internal or external nature) to keep Kovin’s production processes on the leading edge.
• Takes part in training preparation and delivery for employees in collaboration with Engineering and Production Managers.
• Manage and roll out the best practice validation concept related to process area / projects by following West global validation approach.
• Performs all duties in accordance with company health and safety policy, environment protection, as well as any other statutory legislation and company policies.

Your Profile:

• Minimum: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology
• Desirable: Minimum 3 years of work experience in production or manufacturing Technology
• Excellent knowledge of English language both written and spoken
• Dependable, detail oriented, able to multi – task
• Ability to organize and set priorities
• Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently
• Has positive attitude and is flexible. Accepts and supports changes
• Lean Six Sigma training (green or black belt)
• Working knowledge of SPC and Minitab software
• Ability to put clients’ needs as trigger for reaching business decisions
• Ability to find innovative solutions and try different and new ways in dealing with problems and opportunities at work
• Ability to set high performance standards or self and others and taking responsibility for successfully completing the tasks
• Ability to work efficiently with individuals from different cultures, with different interpersonal styles, abilities, motivations, and background
• Ability to work as part of a time to reach business goals
