Job Summary: Responsible for maintaining/purchasing inventories of shop supplies for day to day operations of the plant and for receiving/stocking of items delivered daily to Supply.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring MP2 Purchase Order Journal for purchasing needs.
  • Service needs of maintenance and plant personnel.
  • Update MP2/SAP system daily.
  • Physically stock items in assigned locations each day
  • Receive stock and non-stock items in the MP2/SAP system and print receivers for all.
  • Send notifications of non-stock items received daily.
  • Daily cycle count assigned areas and post to physical inventory in MP2/SAP system.
  • Adhere to Supply Room controls in order to maintain supplies at all times.
  • Keep Supply room clean and neat.
  • Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs.
  • Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
  • Exhibits regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance.


Basic Qualifications: 


  • Education: High School or equivalent
  • Experience: 0-3 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Computer literacy and organizational skills.
  • Be able to communicate effectively in English both verbally & in writing.
  • Must be willing to work as a team member.


Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Two years job-related experience preferred.



Travel Requirements: <5%


Physical & Mental Requirements:


  • Work in a manufacturing environment, subject to extreme heat and cold as well as loud noise.
  • Work in an office environment.  At times must sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and comprehend complex ideas and concepts.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly stands, walks, talks, and hears.
  • Regular full-time employee works 40 hours a week. Some overtime is required.
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and loud at times.  Hearing protection is required in designated areas.
  • Must follow and comply with Plant’s Dress and Hygiene Code (SOI).
  • Must follow and comply with all Company and Plant policies, procedure (SOIs), rules and State and Federal laws.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
