West Jersey Shore is recruiting for a Material Handler to join their team.

 

This is for a 12 hr night shift, B shift, and the pay rate is $21.60

 

Job Summary:

Assist in all areas of Warehouse functions as needed.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Take care of moving product from different areas of Warehouse, Inspection, Production, Molding and the resulting SAP computer transactions
  • Complete monthly inventory counts
  • Load and unload trailers of product to and from customers, semi-finished product to/from outside storage areas, etc.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in the warehouse, stack materials properly and safely, keep aisles clear, rows straight, sweep, etc.
  • Keep copy room supplies stocked up; and take care of recycling bins.
  • Assist in all areas of warehouse functions as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High school or equivalent
  • >3 years

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Valid driver’s license; able to drive company van.
  • Forklift experience necessary
  • Willing and able to work as a team member and make general decisions within authorized responsibility.
  • Have a functional understanding of cGMP’s.
  • Willing to work overtime as needed.
  • Regular attendance is a necessary condition of employment.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Must exhibit computer skills.
  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
  • Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times.
  • Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.
