Job Summary:

This role will be responsible for supporting an ERP conversion focusing primarily on database systems and processes as well as other relevant Supply Chain functions. This role will be expected to analyze current master data and practices in the context of the new ERP design, support the system conversion and data validation, conduct User Acceptance Training, and support the existing departments through the conversion. It will be necessary to collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to ensure the database structure meets all requirements.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Jersey Shore SAP HANA conversion project lead responsible for managing all pre and post Go-Live requirements
  • Collaborate with various site functions to understand current SAP usage and how that functionality will be positioned post Go-Live
  • Collaborate with Site Master Data Analyst to review and prepared existing master data for conversion upload activities
  • Prepare historical documentation records for key processes to ensure continuity in site operations through the conversion process
  • Prepare SAP Hana t-codes, layouts, and variants to facilitate a seamless conversion of tactical SAP functionality during the conversion
  • Conduct system User Acceptance Testing ensuring timely completion and functionality meets the tactical requirements
  • Support training requirements pre and post Go-Live and update or develop work instructions to reflect changes due to the conversion
  • Collaborate with the Global Project Team to facilitate conversion activities as well as represent requests and challenges from the local teams
  • Provide post Go-Live support to the functional teams managing through troubleshooting to mitigate the impact to site operations
  • Assist Supply Chain Manager with the deployment of high-level strategies into the production environment
  • Supports plant operations outside traditional work hours while the site is running production
  • Comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
  • Comply with the company’s quality policy at all times
  • Comply with the SOPs, as per Company policy, as relevant to the position covered by this Job Description
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • College degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or relevant field
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment
  • Experience with SAP
  • Experience managing projects
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

 

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience with SAP HANA, MES programs, Database programs
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Detail oriented with exceptional time management and multi-tasking ability
  • Proven ability to develop reports and analyze data
  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
  • Able to always comply with the company’s safety policy and all local environmental, health & safety regulations.

 

Travel Requirements:

  •  Up to 10% (Up to 26 business days per year)
