JOB SUMMARY This role manages SAP pricing conditions to achieve superior pricing results, collaborating with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Marketing, Sales, Product Management, Commercial Development, Customer Success, and pricing analytics sub-team. He/she execute price analyses to track price initiative progress, identify gaps, errors, and improvement opportunities, recommend remediation approaches, and execute data updates in the system. He/she also support pricing execution efficiency improvements by providing insights for pricing automation and pricing tool development. He/she provides pricing insights through interpreting internal quoting / pricing data in the context of customers, enhancing pricing opportunities and strategies. He/she also provides comprehensive price analysis collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop pricing actions. This role will report directly to the Director, Price Surveillance and Strategy (US-Exton) and with a dotted line report to the Sr. Manager, Commercial Operations, Asia-Pacific.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage pricing conditions and related data in the corporate systems, primarily in SAP
- Track pricing initiatives and their impacts on business outcomes
- Timely update pricing conditions in response to management strategic decisions, including annual price increases and new products
- Analyze customer behavior based on historical transactions and develop insights into West’s best options
- Improve relevant price and product data quality by supervising and providing the auditing guidance for the price data and administration team
- Provide pricing data and insights to support the commercial team’s pricing decisions
- Analyze customer transaction data to extract improvement opportunities and present them to the broader team
- Support the Commercial team’s price execution
- Provide front line pricing support for the sales team and customer success
- Participate in customer communication as necessary with salespeople
- Support development of convincing value proposition in collaboration with the marketing and product management teams
- Provide sales team with the offering’s value proposition to justify the price
- Advocate current pricing strategy and direct the sales team to the right strategy owner as necessary
- Develop and provide pricing training for the sales team, e.g., CPQ (Configure – Price – Quote) training
- Support pricing audit
- Enforce price approval policy per the audit requirements
- Produce pricing reports, data logs, and approval evidence to support quarterly audit

- Analytical skills:
- Ability to attend details with accuracy.

- Computer skills:
- Adept at Excel with advanced functions.
- Proficient in MS Office suite.
- Business Acumen:
- Understanding of how a company makes money – costs, margin, profits, overhead, depreciation, etc.
- Understanding of industry structures, business models, competitive dynamics.
- Communication skills:
- Investigative approach to collect data when required data is not readily available.
- Communication with stakeholders in convincing manner.

- Intellectual curiosity:
