Job Summary:

In conjunction with the Program/Project Manager(s), and with input from the cross-functional team, generate, publish and maintain an accurate Master Schedule, using MS Project, showing the tasks and resources required to deliver on-time, per supply chain requirements and milestones. This position will ensure that key deliverables of the Containment Capacity Programs are met and the organization is supported.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Providing advanced level Microsoft Project planning, scheduling, and oversight support for a variety of projects and activities.
  • Building relationships within a team of cross-functional co-workers to ensure cooperation and overall adherence to our scheduled commitments.
  • Conducting project planning meetings where input from stakeholders is solicited to identify tasks, milestones, activity durations, and resources to be included and updated in the schedule.
  • Baselining initial schedules in Microsoft Project and then maintaining schedules by monitoring, controlling, and updating progress and approved schedule changes throughout the lifecycle of the projects.
  • Identify critical path(s) and task dependencies
  • Providing scheduling support to technical subject matter experts in installation/validation efforts; ensuring schedules, requirements, and quality deliverables are met; and assisting with resource management, task management, etc.
  • Designing and executing Microsoft Project reports (basic or complex) to stakeholders, as requested.
  • Contributing to or taking the lead in recommending, analyzing, and documenting project planning, process improvement, and best practices requiring idea generation and discussions, forward thinking, and thorough, clear, and concise technical writing with the goal of improving the stakeholders’ access to critical information in the scheduling system.
  • Providing excellent customer service involving attention to detail, and prompt communication with all contract resources.
  • Leading and/or participating in planning the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly tasks for the program execution team(s).
  • Other duties as assigned.


Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Finance or Accounting, Science, Engineering, IT discipline; equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum 5 years related, progressive experience
  • 3+ Years experienced as a Project Scheduler for multi-year high profile projects with attention to detail
  • 3+ Years working in a cross functional manufacturing environment interacting with senior management.
  • Proficiency with MS Project/MS Project Server
  • Experience creating and editing dependencies as well as Critical Path
  • Experience using SharePoint and MS Teams



Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Holds advanced Microsoft user certification(s) for MSP or other comparable certification
  • Holds the PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification or other comparable certification
  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
  • Microsoft Power BI
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to accurately document work performed.
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
  • Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.


Travel Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time
