Sr. Analyst, Global Customer Contracts

Job Summary:

The Sr. Analyst, Global Customer Contracts will foster execution of global contract elements and manage business processes and systems relating to customer contracts. This role will manage workflow and provide detailed reporting within the organization to achieve established Commercial Development contracting goals and objectives.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contract pricing: Support integration of contract pricing elements prepared by the Pricing Team to support execution of commercial contracts.
  • Support new contract preparation:
  • Prepare sales and margin reports and graphs to support contract development.
  • Cross Functional Contract Review: Support updating of contracts with cross functional team input
  • Conduct analyses as required to support customer-specific negotiation strategies based on historical sales and profitability data.
  • Provide data as required to support reports regarding global contract negotiation and execution
  • Contract Reporting: Responsible for data integrity regarding contract status:
  • Active contract SharePoint Site maintenance; review, update, upload
  • Maintain list of contracts under negotiation
  • Maintain contract status in SAP
  • Communication of key dates for contract renewal or termination
  • Global rebate tracking: Create rebate calculations for all commercial contracts to ensure proper execution with contract terms.
  • Support the provision of management reporting as required.
  • Communicate rebate updates to Commercial teams.
  • System implementation: Assist with contract software system implementation and new process development.
  • Audits: Supports the provision of accurate information and documentation to fulfill audit requirements.
  • Provides a competent and professional interface with internal and external customers. 
  • Complete business driven departmental projects as assigned.


Basic Qualifications: 

  • Education or Equivalent Experience: Bachelor's in business or similar experience in the field of contract management, pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience
  • Leadership qualities to engender cooperation, respect, and support from other team members within the region and globally.
  • Team player orientation with keen interest for innovation and process improvement
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrates Customer focused approach and motivation to ensure an excellent customer experience.
  • Sound independent reasoning and judgment to establish work priorities, handle questions and be flexible to respond to constantly changing priorities or shifting deadlines.
  • Ability to identify process improvements that have a direct impact on the work performed. Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve these processes.
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.
  • Works independently; receives minimal guidance and can adapt to changing business requirements
  • Excellent analytical skills and project management. 
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and SAP


Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Master’s degree in an appropriate field.
  • Experience of Contract Management and related tools or similar software solutions would be an advantage.
  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description


Travel Requirements:

  • Predominantly office based; partial home working may be considered as experience in the role develops.
  • Role based in Exton office location.
  • Minimal business travel required.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively, speak in front of groups, express & exchange ideas and understand direction.
