Job Summary:

The Director, D&T, Networking and Cybersecurity is an integral part of the D&T Infrastructure & Cybersecurity organization has overall responsibility to provide leadership and vision for Infrastructure, Dev Sec Ops, Network and Cybersecurity as well as responsibility in Demand Management and Change Management.  This role supports the “two in a box” strategy and builds alignment and collaboration across Global Infrastructure and Cybersecurity leadership of West and establishes a “follow the sun” based delivery model across the regions.

This role will have the following responsibilities supporting Network and Cybersecurity Operations: Coordinate with the Digital Technology Center regarding all activities with the transition to the next generation Software Defined WAN; implement Network Segmentation across enterprise; and manage Cybersecurity Risks. Hands on Working knowledge and understanding of Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Security Information & Event Management (SIEM), and Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) is required. Current CISM, CISA, or CISSP certification preferred.

Technology & Architecture Responsibilities:

 

    • Maintains deep technical and business knowledge of different Infrastructure, Network and Cloud technologies and supporting solution areas and develop new technology integrations and solution capabilities.
    • Recommends new architecture and processes, changes to existing architecture and processes, and exceptions to architecture, technology, and process standards globally.
    • Leads a team responsible for conducting static code analysis, threat modelling and developer training programs
    • Develops and executes secure software development strategy for the enterprise, including policies, standards, and governance
    • Manage and design automation to integrate Application Security into various CI/CD across the enterprise
    • Leads the evaluation and oversight of the implementation of new technologies, policies, and procedures for optimal business network operations
    • Supports the development and delivery of Network, Infrastructure and Cybersecurity framework across the enterprise.
    • Manage continuous release planning and execution, and integrate with security design and engineering work across multiple groups and technical constituencies.
    • Leads the development and delivery of Next Generation WAN/LAN architecture across the enterprise.
    • Develops, implements, and monitors a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security program to ensure the integrity, confidentiality and availability of information is controlled.
    • Evaluates new cybersecurity threats and IT trends to develop effective security controls
    • Serves as Network and Cybersecurity expert for West externally and internally
    • Leads third party Security Assessment and audit globally to ensure vendors and service providers adhere to West Cybersecurity guidelines and policies.
    • Ensures key performance indicators are met and threats/vulnerabilities are mitigated. This includes Security Incident & Event Management as well as daily threat analysis.
    • Leads remediating network security control deficiencies in a timely & pragmatic way.
    • Supports and further enhances network perimeter security program and technologies within Enterprise Information Security.

 

    • Leadership Responsibilities
    • Provides strategic direction to Network and Security Operation Centers.
    • Create and supports metrics that report application risk posture and progress over time.
    • Provides leadership, coaching and direction to the Network and Cybersecurity team.
    • Drives agile and DevOps culture of implementation and product management within the Infrastructure and Cybersecurity team.
    • Supports the CISO as a liaison to the various departments on matters of cyber security and cyber risk.
    • Communicates key digital messages, goals, and objectives to team members in their local geographies or business units to drive alignment and a high-performance culture.
    • Assists in the preparation of annual operating and capital budget plans and priorities for the Infrastructure and Cybersecurity team. Ensure the budgets meet D&T objectives.
    • Develops and tracks the operational metrics and reporting to demonstrate risk control and compliance.
    • Ensures the various teams are collaborating across the enterprise and builds a high-performance environment.
    • Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
    • Builds and maintains strong relationships with business leaders across Operations, Commercial and other functions to build alignment, collaboration, and support.
    • Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs. 

 

Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of work experience

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Extensive working knowledge of networking, switches, routers, TCP/IP, WAN , LAN, SIP, etc…
  • Extensive knowledge of application security frameworks like OWASP.
  • Deep understanding and experience in Microsoft Azure Express Route, VNET and other software defined network objects in Azure.
  • Strong tool experience (SIEM, email, endpoint, DLP, AIP, M365, etc.)
  • Strong framework/process/best practices understanding - ITIL, NIST, SOC.
  • Knowledge of ISO 27002 Security Controls.
  • Should have good experience working on Zscaler Cloud proxy implementation and operational management.
  • Good understanding of security tools and mechanisms (IDS/IPS, antivirus, anti-malware, authentication mechanisms, DNS, IPAM, PKI, encryption, etc.)
  • Ability to work in a virtual environment in a global organization and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with high flexibility and rapid response time.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced & complex environment with a self-motivated work ethic; utilize sound judgment with an ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment in making decisions and resolving complex problems related to general & technical aspects of the job. Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, policies, and business practices to achieve results.
  • Preferred but not required: Agile & Scrum Certification
  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
  • Proficient English language skills
  • Willingness to global travel
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
