Job Summary:

The Compliance Analyst, Commercial Development will foster execution of global contract compliance analysis and support business processes and systems relating to customer contracts. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop processes to track special provisions and exceptions and confirm compliance with guidance from Director, Commercial Development
  • Ensure global compliance of commercial contracts with all terms.
  • Conduct annual contract review with reporting to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Notify commercial team regarding termination/auto-renewal deadlines
  • Maintain SAP Contract status designation and update terms in SAP.
  • Maintain SAP contract data for agents and distributors.
  • Perform contract metrics tracking and reporting
  • Complete quarterly audit report confirming compliance for SOX and answer follow-up questions from Internal Audit and external auditors.
  • Ensure agent agreement compliance and commissions calculations.
  • Mergers and acquisitions review and updates for contracted and non-contracted customers.
  • Provide data pertaining to contract reporting as required to support reports regarding global contract negotiation and execution.
  • Assist with contract software system implementation and new process development
  • Provides a competent and professional interface with internal customers. 
  • Complete business driven departmental projects as assigned.
  • Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Education or Equivalent Experience: Bachelor's in Business or similar experience in the field of contract management, pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and highly effective oral and written communication skills required due to global / cross-functional interaction.
  • Leadership qualities to engender cooperation, respect, and support from other team members within the region and globally.
  • Team player orientation with keen interest for innovation and process improvement.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates Customer focused approach and motivation to ensure an excellent customer experience.
  • Sound independent reasoning and judgment to establish work priorities, handle questions and be flexible to respond to constantly changing priorities or shifting deadlines.
  • Works independently; receives minimal guidance and can adapt to changing business requirements.
  • Excellent analytical skills and project management. 
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and SAP.

 

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description

 

Travel Requirements:

  • Predominantly office based; partial home working may be considered as experience in the role develops.
  • Role based in Exton office location.
  • Minimal business travel required.

 

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Must be able to work in a sedentary work environment.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, speak in front of groups, express & exchange ideas and understand direction. 
  • Maintain the ability to work well with others in a variety of situations.
