Job summary:

In this role, you will be a member of the global Operational Excellence team. You will be a business partner with the Global Operations group, supporting critical value streams. Identify and improve critical processes necessary to achieve annual targets. Assure the production processes are repeatable and capable of meeting specifications. Provide methods of reliably reporting improvement status. Support West Business System workstreams.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Integrate with existing global Op Excellence team members
  • Incorporate West Business System and principles into value streams
  • Analyze data to monitor trends that could lead to new projects
  • Lead the assigned projects towards continuous improvement to achieve state-of-the-art processes in plant operations, Quality, Service, HSE and costs
  • Develop robust, capable systems necessary to achieve the strategic goals and objectives
  • Train teams on Lean Six Sigma principles as needed
  • Support and contribute to Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
  • Responsible for analyzing, designing and implementing business process improvements that increase capacity, reduce lead-time and improve process flow and efficiency



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or recognized equivalent curriculum
  • Minimum 8 years of overall experience with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment, utilizing Lean and Six Sigma Manufacturing Principles
  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications, Mini-tab, and other statistical software programs
  • Prior manufacturing experience preferably in medical device
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis and concepts
  • A Certified Black Belt would complete your profile, but is not a must
  • Understanding of business unit functions and cross dependencies / relationships
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
