Job summary:

As a Program Manager, you will manage technical project elements of capital projects and provide clear direction, highlighting risks and/or complexity while achieving milestones and targets. You will ensure a consistent approach to the planning and execution of all technical projects at the Eschweiler site, following the global guidelines for the execution of technical projects. You will support the teams on site and lead all phases of the projects until final handover to the end users.

You will act as an interface with customers and external support services, such as suppliers and contract vendors, to facilitate the development and execution of assigned projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Planning, management and implementation of technical projects
  • Leading project management through budget plans, schedules, resource plans, project controlling, and documentation
  • Permanent monitoring and reporting of projects regarding funding, resources, risks and milestones
  • Definition and control of the necessary change management and the associated communication to support the success of the project
  • Cross-functional networking with Operations, Engineering and Health, Safety & Environment, as well as cross-functional coordination of technical projects
  • Ensuring GMP aspects, current technical standards, local building codes and regulations, and safety standards for the buildings 

 

Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed bachelor's degree, master's degree or diploma in the field of Economics or Engineering
  • Broad experience in project management of a manufacturing company, including operational planning and analysis
  • Good knowledge of EU safety and building regulations as well as manufacturing and process automation
  • Fluent German and English language skills, both verbal and in writing
  • Knowledge of SAP and MS Office as well as experience with ISO 9000, Lean and cGMP
  • Independent, structured and organized way of working, good time management
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, hands-on mentality
  • Acting as a problem solver as well as analytical and strategic thinking
