Job Summary:

In this role you will develop new and improved components for the pharmaceutical industry mainly made from rubber-, aluminum- and plastic materials or combination of these materials. You will develop product concepts, execute studies to prove feasibility and support the scale up to industrial manufacturing.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Executing development projects for new product solutions
  • Being a core team member and technical lead of assigned R&D projects in cross-functional teams
  • Preparing project time schedules and ensuring compliance with these plans and related budgets
  • Ensuring that product development projects activities, project communication and documentation are following internal customer requirements and expectations
  • Designing and executing relevant experiments that stress the capability of the product
  • Applying best practice for research and development activities including proper documentation
  • Supporting the implementation of the newly developed products into our production processes
  • Proactively maintaining awareness of technology and competitive business trends

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering
  • Work experience in the pharmaceutical industry or another highly regulated, international environment is preferred
  • Work experience in a lab environment and method development as well as knowledge about production technologies would be a plus
  • Strong result-oriented analytical skills, hands-on and pragmatic manners
  • Proficient communication and presentation skills in English. German skills or willingness to learn would be an advantage
