Job Summary
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of vision devices and equipment in a cleanroom environment at West, including coordinating these tasks with external contractors and utilizing the preventive maintenance system according to prescribed guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Mechatronic maintenance, installation, and repair of production equipment in a cleanroom environment
- Supervision of the machinery during the ongoing 24/7 production
- Analysis of errors and disruptions in complex systems with pneumatic and electronic components
- Inspection of machines and systems according to applicable regulations
- Expansion and optimization of equipment
- Documentation of work in the SAP-PM system
- Supports and contributes to Lean programs and activities
Education
- Completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician or, alternatively, as a mechanic or electronics technician
Work Experience
- Several years of professional experience in a production company
- Experience in control technology, measurement, and control engineering
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge in the field of pneumatics and vibratory feeder technology
- Knowledge in using a PC and good knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to read electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic/pneumatic drawings
- Willingness to work shifts and on-call duty
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently
