Job Summary: 
As Manager Operations Production (m/f/d), you will manage a complete area within production. In doing so, you are not only responsible for your directly subordinate employees, but you are also responsible for the individual shifts and their teams.


Your main tasks

  • Management of the production department
  • Responsibility for compliance with legal and internal regulations, in particular with regard to occupational health and safety, environment and security
  • Organization and implementation of personnel planning, training and development for the responisble department
  • Planning and supervision of projects involving internal or external capacities
  • Participation and co-responsibility in the preparation and monitoring of the budget
  • Preservation, maintenance and optimization of production resources
  • Process control and analysis including continuous process improvement (Lean)
  • Preparation of proposals for investments in machines and tools
  • Support in handling deviations/changes as well as external complaints or their clarification

 

Your profile

  • Successfully completed technical or business studies or similar qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in a production environment
  • First management experience desirable
  • Experience in capacity planning and project management
  • Profound knowledge in MS-Office and knowledge in SAP
  • Very good knowledge of written and spoken German and English
  • Strong communication skills and a reliable, proactive and committed work style
  • Thinking and working according to Lean and safety principles (Six Sigma Green Belt desirable)
  • Assertiveness and decision-making skills combined with an analytical mindset
