Job Summary:

This role has special emphasis on Business Relationship and High Volume Recruitment in a Fast Paced growing

organisation. You will have exceptional communication and organisational skills and ability to adapt to changing

requirements. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for

supporting all aspects of onsite recruitment.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage talent management lifecycle for temporary and permanent roles.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and HR partners to understand business strategy and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Lead sourcing, application management, screening, selection to onboarding through the global process.
  • Management of candidates through our CMS (Success Factors).
  • Manage internal recruitment.
  • Conduct in-depth candidate screens and assess potential candidates for level of interest, qualifications, compensation requirements and overall fit to the organization.
  • Identify and convert hard-to-find passive talent by constantly exploring new talent channels and tapping into those channels to introduce them to West and the West employee value proposition.
  • Work to deliver a diverse slate of candidates wherever possible.
  • Assist with graduate, university, internship programs, exhibits.
  • Deliver recruitment administration & weekly reporting.
  • Relationship management and support to understand requirements of roles being recruited with hiring managers.
  • Compliance with all local site company policies, procedures and corporate policies
  • Compliance with all local site environmental, health and safety regulations.
  • Act in accordance with the company’s guiding principles and adherence to the corporate code of conduct.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of third level qualification, ideally to degree level, in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years recruitment/sourcing experience required, using recruitment systems.
  • Previous Recruitment/Sourcing experience required, using Recruitment systems.


Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Previous experience of working in a high volume regulated manufacturing environment advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent organisational skills, detail orientated.
  • Strong competence in IT – Candidate Management System – ideally Success Factors.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and part of a team.
  • Able to be aware of all relevant standard operating procedures as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description.
  • Support and contribute to Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target.
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times.
  • Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.

 

Travel Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel up to 5% of the time.

 

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • This job is classified as sedentary as the candidate will work seated in front of their computer for the majority of their day.
