Job Summary:

The SAP Production Operations lead will coordinate and support the roll out of SAP/S4 Hana in Dublin. You will partner with the various operations team members and the SAP Site project lead and you will ensure all relevant operations process flows are considered as part of the SAP implementation. Your expertise will be pivotal in managing cross-functional teams, co-ordinating with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring the timely delivery of the SAP/S4 Hana project to exceed customer expectations.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent the operations team on all matters relating to SAP S4/Hana implementation, liaising with PGLs, VSL’s, BU Managers, Logistics and Materials teams, HR, Quality and Supply Chain teams and other functions to ensure key process flows are captured, tested and effectively implemented in SAP roll out.
  • Liaise with our sister site in Grand Rapids, Michigan on matters relating to operations.
  • Support the Site Project Team, D&T project team and West Integration leads to ensure on time delivery of the project.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining project tasks, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure successful project execution in operations.
  • Effective communication with key stakeholders on all matters relating to SAP S4/Hana from an operations viewpoint.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks by developing contingency plans and proactively addressing challenges that may arise during project execution.
  • Monitor and track project progress using appropriate project management tools and techniques; provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and achievements.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving, addressing any roadblocks and facilitating timely decision-making.
  • Uphold a high standard of work ethic, professionalism, and teamwork, fostering a collaborative and results-driven project environment.
  • Continuously assess and improve project management processes, identifying areas for optimization and implementing best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Minimum education requirement is a Bachelors of Business or similar
  • Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience

 

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion, meeting, or exceeding project goals. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams, stakeholders, and partners. 
  • Proficient in project management software and tools; experience with Microsoft Project, or similar platforms is advantageous. 
  • Problem-solving mindset, proactive approach to challenges, and ability to make sound decisions under pressure. 
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to navigate through ambiguity and adapt to changing project requirements. 
  • Able to be aware of all relevant standard operating procedures as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
  • Support and contribute to Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
    • List any safety requirements applicable to role within your country
  • Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.

 

Travel Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel up to 5% of the time

 

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Sedentary - exerting up to 10lbs/4kgs of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. 

 

Delegation of Duties:

  • When absent from the site duties and responsibilities will be delegated to the following designates:
  • Program Manager
