Job Summary:

The role is responsible for the Global Sales Incentive Program (SIP) to ensure timely and accurate bonuses for the West Sales team. This role will coordinate annual plan update (including review and approval cycles) to ensure the SIP aligns with business strategy & priorities for a given year. Under the general guidance of the Sr. Mgr, Sales Business Systems and Applications, they will be responsible for liaising with the Digital and Technology (D&T) group to develop SIP tracking capabilities to automate the real-time progress against targets. The role is also responsible for quarterly forecasting to finance for accrual of sales plan payout against employee cost center.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Commercial Leadership, HR, and Finance to manage the annual Sales Incentive Program (SIP) from annual update to payout.
  • Work with D&T to develop, build and maintain the automated solutions which ensure the SIP can be effectively and efficiently administered beginning with annual plan development, target setting and issue (i.e., data analysis, review, approvals and payout).
  • Develop and manage program dashboards to allow SIP participants to have individual real-time visibility of their performance to plan (and may include their historical performance where applicable).
  • Utilize data from SIP automation and dashboards to generate regular payout forecasts for use by Finance for quarterly, annual and ad hoc accruals.
  • Lead HR/ Finance to ensure that the SIP process is able to facilitate all audit requirements relating to incentive claims.
  • Point of contact for SIP participants to deal with routine enquiries and follow ups.
  • This role will work with business leadership to develop and implement short-term incentives (SPIFFs) to drive near-term sales priorities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or Business in marketing, finance, science or technical or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in business with 5+ years in Sales Incentive Plan Management in a B2B sales environment.

 

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Global commercial experience in a matrix organization, preferably in a multi-national manufacturing organization.
  • Excellent analytical, project management and communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP HANA, CRM (i.e., Salesforce) and DocuSign.
  • Advanced MS Excel and general Word and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to prepare and present clear and concise information to all levels of management and staff (including effective visual graphics.)
  • Driven and accountable self-starter, with ability to identify and communicate priorities, and work independently in a fast-paced industry at a rapidly growing organization.
  • Strong organization and detail-oriented skillset, driving towards firm payout deadlines.
  • Thorough research, problem solving and analytical skills, combined with strong business acumen.
  • Should have zeal towards customers experience and continuous improvements.
  • Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description.
  • Able to maintain the highest standards of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety and quality policy at all times

 

Travel Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time, including internationally.

 

Physical and Mental Requirements:
