Job Summary:

This position will join a team of transformation leaders who are driving efficient processes, accurate data, and reliable reporting across our enterprise.  The Finance Transformation team has a wide-ranging responsibility to drive the global implementation of SAP S/4HANA, build reporting to provide meaningful insights, improve process integration, standardize data, drive automation of Finance activities, and introduce artificial intelligence and machine learning to our Finance solutions.  This position will support our efforts to identify transformation opportunities, maintain detailed plans in the transformation portfolio, develop self-service reports to communicate commitments, progress, and benefit realization, and execute strategic transformation initiatives.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in and capture outcomes of workshops and interviews with Subject Matter Experts
  • Maintain identified features, user stories, tasks, gaps, and the relationships between them within the transformation portfolio
  • Develop and share reporting that articulates progress and realization of benefits from transformation initiatives
  • Drive execution of activities necessary to achieve our organizational goals
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or related fields, or equivalent experience

 

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Foundational understanding of budgeting, forecasting, analytics, and accounting principles for the typical business processes of a Life Sciences manufacturing company (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, etc.)
  • Strong organizational capabilities and attention to detail
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to approach problems systematically, break them down into manageable components, and develop creative solutions
  • Aptitude for implementing or enhancing technology solutions to improve business processes
  • Experience with ERPs (SAP S/4HANA a plus), analytics tools, data visualization tools, and/or emerging technologies (such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning)
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills that can be adapted cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Foundational understanding of Agile project management framework
  • Awareness of change management principles
  • Mindset focused on continuous learning to maintain knowledge of industry trends, new technologies, and evolving best practices
  • Resilience and a positive attitude, with a bias toward action and collaboration

 

Travel Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time
