Job Summary:

The Sr. Software Engineer, Digital and Transformation requires in-depth knowledge and experience to work autonomously and oversee and participate in the architectural design, development, and enhancement of applications. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Possesses solid understanding of the overall vision, business needs and the solution architecture for cloud-based solution. Uses this in-depth knowledge to solve complex problems.
•    Utilizes knowledge of best practices to building highly scalable, robust, secure and sustainable solution using Azure Platform. 
•    Writes high-quality code for Azure PaaS Services with microservice based architecture
•    Building repeatable deployment solution using ARM Templates.  
•    Transforms business requirements into technical specifications
•    Estimates technical requirements and breaks down work to user stories and tasks
•    Plans, develops, tests, deploys and monitors cloud-based solution in a DevOps model
•    Collaborates with senior roles and Architects on various prototypes, or proof of concept, to test solutions
•    Coaches, supports and trains other developers and engineers
•    Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience 
•    Minimum 5-8 years of experience .

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•    Solid experience and in-depth knowledge of: 
o    Developing & managing cloud-based solution with Azure PaaS, using C#, .NET Core, Node.Js and python
o    Designing and building highly scalable, available and resilience cloud solution architecture 
o    Azure IoT and Azure IoT Edge based architecture and developing solution for the same. 
o    Developing application using Azure IoT Hubs, Azure Event Hubs, Stream Analytics, Azure Storages, Azure Cosmos Db, Azure Key Vaults, Data Lake and other Azure PaaS Services
o    Device Provisioning techniques, Azure IoT Provisioning services and developing custom device provisioning services.   
o    Developing secure solution using Azure Active Directory and Azure Key Vaults
o    Managing and controlling API’s using Azure API Management Services
o    Microservice based architecture and development using Azure Services fabric
o    Deployment of solution using Azure App Services and using docker based container.
o    Developing custom docker images, publishing it to docker registry and Azure Container Registry services 
o    Serverless computing and architecture, and building solution using Azure Functions with cloud messaging and storage platform
o    Azure Integration services such Service Bus and Logic Apps 
o    Developing and implementing data orchestration using Azure Data Factory with various input and output data sources 
o    Developing in an Agile methodology with Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS)
o    Setting up Disaster Recovery platform for custom developed Azure solution. 
o    Setting up Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) / DevOps for cloud hosted solution.
o    PowerShell and Azure CLI 
o    Developing reusable ARM templates with the help of PowerShell
o    Azure Automation, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics services 
o    Monitoring and troubleshooting Azure hosted solution
o    Various code repositories like Git, TFS, etc
o    Experience in various cloud design pattern. 
o    Application Telemetry and analyze telemetry using Application Insights and other analytics services

•    Strong understanding and knowledge of the following:
o    Overall Azure and cloud platform ecosystem and roadmaps
o    Azure Cognitive API’s including Vision, Speech, Language etc. 
o    Azure Machine Learning Platform including Data Modeling, Azure Machine Learning Studio or any other Tools 
o    Azure Data and Data Analytics platform such Analytics Services 
o    Docker, Docker Hub and using Kubernetes for automating containerized application deployment 
o    Application Monitoring and SOP’s for Azure Services App Management
•    Familiar with 
o    Developing Bot using Microsoft Bot Framework with CRM KB is Plus.  
o    Experiences working with Node-Red is a plus 
•    Preferred:  
o    Overall 3+ years of experiences with Azure development (1 year with Azure IoT / Azure IoT edge-based development)
o    Previous development experiences with .NET, C#, WPF, ASP.NET MVC with other Microsoft Tools and Technologies
•    Ability to work in a global and virtual environment and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
•    Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced & complex environment with a self-motivated work ethic; utilize sound judgment with an ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.
•    Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description 
•    Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times

Physical and Travel Requirements
•    15% travel, including global travel
•    Occasional on-call work required
