Job Summary:

 

The Senior Solution Architect, D&T, SAP FICO requires in-depth knowledge and experience and is accountable for collaborating with the D&T team in various locations to define, deliver and support IT enabled business solutions for the Financial Management- FICO. This role will also help determine business needs and design & deliver technical solutions for Finance.  Senior Solution Architect, D&T, SAP FICO, S4HANA finance has primary accountability for the delivery of financial systems, system enhancement and production support in alignment with West D&T and company policies and procedures. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·    Partner with S4HANA application and other teams to define, determine business needs and design & deliver technical financial solutions through system configuration. This includes interpreting any issues and recommending solutions or best practices.
·    Spearhead the mapping of map business requirements to optimal technical solutions.
·    Provide technical delivery of functionality to meet defined business requirements.
·    Provide system support and maintenance in alignment with standards and process set within the ERP Services Delivery model, West policies and procedures as well as Regulatory requirements including but not limited to Sarbanes-Oxley and FDA GMP.
·    Create and maintain system lifecycle documents in accordance with West policies and procedures, including creation and maintenance of SOPs, SOIs and Job Aids.
·    Work within and participates in the Change Control process.
·    Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.
·    Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
·    Exhibit regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance.

 

Education and Experience:

•    Minimum 5+ years of related work experience 
•    Bachelor’s degree with M.B.A (Finance), Chartered Accountant – C.A, CFA - Chartered Financial Analyst, CMA -Cost Management Accounting (Final) or other related field 
•    Minimum 5+ years of related work experience
•     Preferred but not required: Agile & Scrum Certification, ITIL.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•    Excellent SAP skills – system functionality and technical understanding must be up to date on latest SAP S4HANA Finance release.
SAP FI – Accounts Receivable and Payable; General Ledger including new GL; Fixed Asset Accounting; Bank Accounting; Taxes on Sales / Purchases; Withholding taxes; Cross-modular integration with CO, MM, SD, PP, PM and PS modules;  SAP CO – Cost Element Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Material Ledger, CO-PA, Profit Centre Accounting, financial consolidation, management reporting using CO, COPA, Product Costing, budget control using SAP FM knowledge preferred.
•    Ability to work in a virtual environment in a global organization and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
•    Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced & complex environment with a self-motivated work ethic; utilize sound judgment with an ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.
•    Ability to support the day to day business in SAP FICO domain and answer their queries/questions.
•    Proficient English language skills
•    Willingness to global travel
•    Able to comply with the company’s safety and quality policies at all times.

 

Physical and Travel Requirements

•    15% travel, including global travel
