Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Digital & Transformation, Reporting and Analytics Architect is responsible for strategizing and delivering analytical and reporting solutions across all process areas and systems at West Pharma. The role requires substantial technical expertise alongside the ability to collaborate with BI SMEs & business leads to understand business requirements and to implement optimal reporting solutions. In addition, this role must have in-depth technical skills on reporting tools like Power BI, SQL and other components like power apps, Flow, automate etc.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Manages a team of 7 – 9 direct/indirect members globally to design and deliver reporting and analytical solutions using Power BI, Power Pivot, Power Query, SQL, and other latest technologies as needed.
•    Implementation experience on building comprehensive data lake to support future, scalable reporting platform.
•    Recommends future analytics and reporting strategy in areas of AI, ML and ChatGPT and executes as per the agreed strategy of the organization.
•    Oversee the deployment of executive dashboards and maintain the operability of the reports and dashboards.
•    Leads and works with cross functional teams, as required, consisting of business analysts, insourced and outsourced technical resources, business process leads, project managers and system users globally to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of solutions and business process enhancements.
•    Ability to handle multiple deliverables across Experience with designing and architecting analytics/reporting tools/solutions.
•    Maintains a current awareness of SAP & Microsoft product developments and trends and determines how they can be used to enhance productivity.
•    Ability to work independently & manage multiple priorities.
•    Ensures production support incidents are resolved by the team in a timely and effective manner and enhancement requests are managed and delivered for new reporting and analytical capabilities. 
•    Reviews, and/or recommends new architecture and processes, changes to existing architecture and processes, and exceptions to architecture, technology, and process standards globally.
•    Attracts, recruits, develops, and builds capabilities across reporting and analytical competency areas   which include Power BI and Microsoft Azure analytical platforms.
•    Inspires, coaches, trains, develops, motivates, and evaluates team members to enable their capabilities and accomplish the department’s priorities.  •    Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
•    12+ years of solid hands-on work experience 
•    Good Communication Skills, analytical and problem-solving skills
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•    Proficient knowledge of DAX language, Power Pivot and Power Query (including M language) 
•    Experience in sourcing PowerBI from SAP BW queries, SAP HANA, Azure data bricks, SharePoint, Office 365, Oracle and Common Data Services Combining multiple data sources, including business-user managed files Experience with strong large-scale data, data ingesting, enriching, modeling, dataflows. 
•    Ability to create beyond basic report format (storytelling, what-if analyses, forecasts, and other predictions) PowerBI Service administration (maintenance and management) 
•    Understanding of in-depth authorization concepts (including RLS)
•    A sound knowledge of business processes in the areas of Production Planning, Procurement, Quality, Sales, and Finance is a must.
•    Ability to work independently in a virtual environment in a global organization and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities with high flexibility and rapid response time.
•    Experience in managing a team of 7 - 9 direct/indirect members in a global matrix organization.
•    Willingness to global travel
•    Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description.
•    Able to always comply with the company’s safety and quality policies.

•    10% travel, including global travel.
