Job Summary:

This role as Principal Solution Architect,D&T, Cloud Administrator , he/she  will be responsible for the overall design, implementation, configuration, administration & maintenance of Azure cloud infrastructure along with Google & Amazon Cloud platforms. The candidate will be primary point of contact responsible for the overall operability, resiliency, performance, and capacity of owned production services. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•    Collaborate with all other vertical Engineering Leads to execute strategic changes in the Infrastructure/Network/Security based on the product roadmap.
•    Manage West Pharma's portfolio of Azure cloud across the landscape vis-a-vis development, quality & mission-critical production environments.
•    Primary contact for all administration like Design, Installation, Configuration, Backup & Recovery, Performance Tuning, Scripting etc.
•    Performing scheduled maintenance & patch deployment to ensure compliance.
•    Knowledge & experience in setting up High Availability (HA) & Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
•    Experience with Environment Monitoring, Performance Tuning and Optimization.
•    Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.
•    Drive and deliver strategic Azure cloud architecture and implementation
•    Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing end-to-end problem resolution.
•    Experience in maintaining cloud-based platforms for networking, compute & storage. 
•    Responsible to setup & document production policies, security baseline, procedures & instructions.
•    Responsible for ensuring SoX & GxP compliance along with Audit support..

Basic Qualifications:
•    Bachelor/Master’s degree  in IT with at least 8-10 years of experience in infrastructure domain with at-least 8+ years in designing & implementing cloud solutions 

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•    Architecture, Configuration, Security, Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Infrastructure etc.
•    Designs and implements large-scale research and concept proof projects as individual contributors, focusing on one or a small number of technologies or applications to be implemented on a larger platform. 
•    Effectively anchors and drives on-shore / offshore technical solutions 
•    Proficient & Hands on experience in architecting, designing and managing continuous delivery system and methodologies on Azure.
•    Experience in the architecture, design and management of Azure's ongoing delivery scheme and methodologies. 
•    Defining and applying alternatives based on Cloud Azure. 
•    Good knowledge of creating PowerShell scripts and ARM templates to automate the implementation of advertisements. 
•    Understanding the principles of network design VPN, Express Route, Load Balancing, Traffic Manager, User Routing Definition, etc. 
•    Strong job ethics and a willingness to help drive the project's effective architectural vision 
•    Ability to work and align with different teams in a global virtual environment with L3 production support as required.
•    Ability to control new data and new methods quickly.
•    Conceptual understanding of the principles of SOA, design patterns and the capacity to provide them with alternatives

Physical and Travel Requirements
•    5% travel, including global
•    Occasional on-call work required
•    Prefer 12pm – 9pm India time. Willingness to work outside of these hours as needed.
