Job Summary:

The Solutions Architect-FW, R&D_ATDE works independently and has sufficient  level capabilities and knowledge to perform as individual contributor. Designs the Software for the next generation IOT edge medical devices for real time computing use cases. This role plays in major role in the building of a futuristic and next generation wearable devices for Medical applications.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•    Possesses understanding capabilities of the complete product cycle of Software Design from requirements, Software design document, design level block diagrams, Simulation, Coding, Test report, Risk Analysis. 
•    Utilizes knowledge and experience to Integration Test using various lab equipment. 
•    Shows thought process in designing the future embedding system software  on SOC (system of a chip) architecture.  
•    Builds and maintains strong relationships with the team and business to ensure collaboration and alignment within and outside of the department.
•    Using knowledge and expertise, solves unique issues and processes.
•    Helps drive the innovative environment through agile and DevOps culture of implementation and product management.
•    Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with specialization in Electronics and/or Instrumentation 
•    3-5 years of related work experience .

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•    Hands on experience with development of Embedded C code on a Chip (SOC) boards, designing solutions and building products
•    Knowledge of programing using SDK for various SOC boards in the market 
•    Development experience in device drivers for TCP/IP, UART, SPI, I2C, etc.  with good debugging skills 
•    Continuous learning and Master of Development tools from time to time depending upon business needs
•    Ability to work in a virtual environment in a global organization and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities with high flexibility and rapid response time
•    Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced & complex environment with a self-motivated work ethic; utilize sound judgment with an ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency
•    Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times.

Physical and Travel Requirements

•    Up to 10% travel may be required
•    Occasional on-call work required
