Job Summary:


The SEO Specialist, D&T, eCommerce, and Digital Marketing role will be responsible to support  decisions within the West digital marketing team for growing West’s organic search presence globally. Working in close collaboration with the Commercial Digital Customer Experience team and Global Communications - this role is responsible to assist drive execution and collaboration with various team members to execute SEO initiatives.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Technical professional with knowledge of keyword research, competitive analysis and SEO technical best practices.
•    Analyze West’s existing content platforms and identify opportunities for improvement to increase organic traffic and search ranking
•    Suggest ideas for improved structure, accuracy, search intent, and user experience.
•    Measure and report on organic traffic, rankings, and backlinks generated from search
•    Audit and optimize content for better performance in search engines as well as to drive conversions to our products and content offers.
•    Work with stakeholders to communicate expectations and recommendations on SEO best practices
•    Assist in Quantify SEO activities
•    International SEO understanding
•    Setup features in Google Search Console, SEMRush to drive analysis of website and ranking keywords
•    Stay up to date on SEO trends, search engine algorithm updates and industry moving technology– Design new SEO trends and application tools to better SEO practices.
•    With basic guidance develop SEO best practice documentation to educate internal and other functional areas
•    Assist to build communication and translate SEO uncovered information into decision driven data keeping the bigger picture of the business in mind

 

Education and Experience:
•    Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent experience. 
•    3 to 5 years of SEO (technical) management for both global clients, agency or internal
•    Experience in healthcare/pharma industry will be an advantage
•    Experience with the following:
o    SEO migrations
o    Google Search Console, Moz, SEMRush
o    Google Analytics 
o    Advanced Excel Skills 
o    Working knowledge of HTML, Javascript and CSS
o    SEO strategy creation and implementation
o    Screaming Frog, Ahrefs 
•    Keyword research and translate that to user intent.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•    Knowledge  of Digital Marketing channels (Paid Search, Display/Programmatic, Paid Social, etc.)  – system functionality and technical understanding of eCommerce platforms, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), content management solutions and email/digital marketing solutions.
•    Story-telling skills to deliver clear insights that are concise and actionable.
•    Experience making data-driven decisions using analytics, A/B testing, campaign reports and dashboards
•    Working knowledge of HTML, Javascript and CSS
•    Being proactive, organized, and well-structured is important for this role
•    Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking, ability to work in a virtual environment in a global organization and effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
•    Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description 

 

Physical and Travel Requirements
•    15% travel, including global travel
•    Occasional on-call work required
•    Prefer 12pm – 9pm India time. Willingness to work outside of these hours as needed.
