Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contributing to the assessment of fire hazards in workplaces and updating the fire safety regulations
  • Advising on fire-hazardous work processes and the use of flammable materials
  • Assisting in ensuring compliance with fire protection regulations for new constructions, renovations, extensions, changes of use, leases, and procurements
  • Ensuring that escape and rescue plans, fire brigade plans, alarm plans, etc. are up to date; initiating and supporting updates as required
  • Planning, organizing, and conducting evacuation drills and training sessions
  • Supporting the implementation of official orders and/or requirements of the fire insurance provider
  • Monitoring the usability of escape and rescue routes
  • Documenting activities within the company, e.g., inspection reports, test reports, defect reports, and annual reports
  • Supporting the German sites in all fire protection matters

Education

  • Completed technical vocational training
  • Additional qualification as a Certified Fire Protection Construction Manager desirable

Work Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in a technically oriented field

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Fluent English skills
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
  • High level of flexibility and agility

Pay Transparency:

The annual base salary for this position is €52,684.16. Total target compensation is determined using objective and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, market benchmarks, geographic location, and the scope and responsibilities of the role.

This position may be eligible for variable compensation and other incentive programs in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans within the country of employment. In addition, team members are eligible to participate in the company’s benefits and total rewards programs applicable to their location and employment status.
