Job Summary
Help installation, maintenance, and repair workers in maintenance, parts replacement, and repair of industrial machinery, and electrical and electronic equipment. Perform duties such as furnishing tools, materials, and supplies to other workers; cleaning work area, machines, and tools; and holding materials or tools for other workers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains equipment and tools to ensure that they are available when needed and in good working condition; includes housekeeping, parts storage, equipment maintenance, ensuring calibration of equipment against specified standards, and tool using.
- Work with the team in identifying spare parts and logging them on the West Parts storage system
- Record all work completed on Plant CMMS system.
- Works with maintenance personnel including contractors working on specific projects, to ensure that they are performing their work efficiently in a safe, compliant manner.
- Performs minor electrical maintenance/repair to include, but not be limited to, replacement or repair of fixtures using appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools and determines when an electrician is required.
- Carryout preventative measures and look for alternative solutions to maintenance problems encountered
- Ability to learn basic hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance
- Work with operators to improve TPM/ PM program
- Follow directions and communicate effectively with all levels of plant personnel
- Weekly and monthly PMs - reporting and documenting
- Performs minor and major repair of all buildings and equipment on a routine basis.
- Ensures all equipment and facilities are cGMP compliant and are running efficiently and safely.
- Dismantles moves, assembles, and installs equipment, as needed. Transports goods or equipment, as assigned.
Education

Leaving Certificate or equivalent
- Currently studying a level 6, 7 or 8 qualification in Maintenance/Engineering/Electrical or similar.
Work Experience
- No min required maintenance and manufacturing experience preferred
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, schedules, diagrams, and procedure manuals
- Ability to work weekends and overtime as required
- Experience in medical device industry or other regulated industry
- Able to apply basic concepts of algebra, geometry and trigonometry.

Pay Transparency:
The salary for this position is 14,15€ per hour. Total target compensation is determined using objective and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, market benchmarks, geographic location, and the scope and responsibilities of the role.
This position may be eligible for variable compensation and other incentive programs in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans within the country of employment. In addition, team members are eligible to participate in the company’s benefits and total rewards programs applicable to their location and employment status.
