Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager will drive the strategic direction and operational excellence of our warehouse and logistics operations. This role is central to ensuring the seamless movement of materials that support our manufacturing and customer delivery processes. This role will combine tactical execution with strategic vision — elevating operational efficiency, compliance, and people development across the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Shape the warehouse strategy and operational roadmap to align with business growth, safety, quality, and customer service goals.
  • Operational Governance: Direct all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, material storage, picking, and finished goods distribution — ensuring flawless execution, traceability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Cross-Functional Enablement: Partner with Production, Planning, Procurement, and Quality teams to strengthen supply continuity, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance visibility across the value stream by providing inputs for the SIOE process.
  • Inventory Governance: Oversee the accuracy, security, and optimization of inventory control systems. Use analytics, cycle counts, and process audits to sustain best-in-class inventory integrity.
  • Continuous Improvement Leadership: Champion Lean methodologies, process automation, and digital warehouse solutions to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Team Empowerment: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team that upholds excellence in safety, quality, and productivity. Drive engagement through coaching, recognition, and continuous skill development.
    • Cultivate a positive workplace culture by managing team performance through regular performance reviews, 1:1s, recruitment, training, and development plans, swiftly addressing any arising issues.
    • Foster communication and cooperation among team members, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.
    • Participate in resolving team member relations issues and facilitate team transitions to different locations, as required.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement data-driven improvements to increase warehouse efficiency, service reliability, and cost performance.
  • ERP & SAP Mastery: Leverage enterprise systems to streamline workflows, monitor performance, and enhance decision-making effectiveness.
  • Logistics Collaboration: Partner with transport and logistics providers to improve delivery performance, cost competitiveness, and service quality.
  • Safety & Compliance Excellence: Embed a culture of safety, 5S discipline, and compliance with all local EHS and corporate standards.
  • Executive Collaboration: Represent warehouse operations in leadership forums, strategic reviews, and cross-functional improvement initiatives.
  • Act in accordance with the company’s Guiding Principles and adherence to the corporate Code of Conduct.  
  • Compliance to all local site Environmental, Health and Safety regulations 
  • Compliance to all local site company policies, procedures and corporate policies
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Studies, or similar discipline.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse, operations, or inventory management, ideally within a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment.
    • APICS qualification.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Proficiency in SAP and a strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems.
    • Strong experience in applying Lean Manufacturing principles.
    • Excellent coordination and organizational skills.
    • Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
    • Team player with the capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and persistence in following up requests.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse data and reach solutions.
    • Good negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
    • Ability to work independently with involvement across multiple business functions.
    • Strong sense of urgency and flexibility.

Travel Requirements

5%: Up to 13 business days per year
