Job Summary

In this role, you are responsible for executing testing for both internal and external customers in a cGMP environment, including drug product testing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

An expert in basic established techniques, equipment, and/or test methods while following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Experience is High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and associated analytical techniques.
Proficient with complicated techniques, equipment, data gathering and/or test methods.
Collaborate and in some cases lead, evaluation of equipment and vendor discussions
Liaise with other WSS sites to ensure consistency in testing and methodology
Ensure AIQs for all WSS instruments are completed in a timely manner.
Participate in all development, transfer, analysis of customer works as required.
Independently complete projects from initiation through completion.
Actively participate in and complete all appropriate training tasks in a timely manner.
Provide training on established techniques and/or test methods.
Assist and participate with audits as required.
Ensure metrology tasks for all WSS instruments are completed in a timely manner.
Develop/Assist in lab study design and in study plans and protocols and methods.
Assist in implementation of new methods, validations, and technologies as required.
Liaise with vendors, clients and inter-departments as required.
Author work instructions, SOPs, validations, technical reports, protocols and qualification documentation.
Ensure documentation is consistent across WSS functions.
Lead and/or participate in and complete simple lab investigations, OOS, Deviations, LIRs and CAPAs as required.
Be efficient in the required laboratory software & critical systems to perform the day-to-day required activities.
Meet individual and departmental goals and metrics.
Make rational and sound decisions at an individual level.
Adhere to established laboratory safety procedures.
Weekly and monthly laboratory clean routines.
Follow required cGMP regulations and internal QA procedures.
Possess ability to work independently and as part of a team with self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
Willingness to learn and apply new analytical techniques.
Act in accordance with the company’s Guiding Principles and adherence to the corporate Code of Conduct
Compliance to all local sites: Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and contributions to improvement of safety in the laboratory.
Compliance with all local company policies, procedures and corporate policies.
Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

Degree in chemistry, pharmacy or related scientific discipline.
Minimum 3 yeras of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical, pharmaceutical packaging or medical device / delivery systems company and cGMP environment.
HPLC experience is essential.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Able to be aware of all relevant standard operating procedures as per company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description.
Experience is High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
Experience with FDA, HPRA, ISO & corporate audits.
Support and contribute to Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target #LI-NJ1 #LI-Hybrid

Pay Transparency:

The annual base salary range for this position is €44,968.00 - €57,232.00. Total target compensation is determined using objective and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, market benchmarks, geographic location, and the scope and responsibilities of the role.

This position may be eligible for variable compensation and other incentive programs in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans within the country of employment. In addition, team members are eligible to participate in the company’s benefits and total rewards programs applicable to their location and employment status.
