Job Summary

At West, Taiwan DTC (Digital Technology Center), we view the Software QA role as key to the whole Taiwan DTC's success. That is why we work with local colleges and look for interns every year.

You will join a team of committed and accountable individuals who help and respect each other. This team is also a fan of self-organized processes. We build and design many work processes with a whole-team effort, including how we interview candidates, train newcomers, how we do job transition within the team, how we do test differently in different projects, how we train ourselves new testing skills...etc.

You will work in a well-managed office in a modern office building in the prime location of Taichung city, with ergonomic and well-equipped workstations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Know how to code in Python
• Basic knowledge to create manual test coverage for software products
• Interested in creating automated test coverage for software products
• Comfortable in communicating with developers, fellow QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality in products and processes
• Comfortable in working in a fast-paced environment; use sound judgement to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency and importance
• Possess a strong level of curiosity, interest, and eagerness to learn new technologies quickly

Additional Responsibilities

Education

• Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related fields preferred.
• Programming: Python
• Language: Fluent in Mandarin, willing to communicate in English for reading and writing

Physical Requirements
