Job Summary
In this position, you will perform technical activities in a laboratory environment to analyze and test the electromechanical functionality of West products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manual evaluation of incubated agar media as part of bioburden testing and microbiological environmental monitoring
- Documentation and processing of test results in SAP as well as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Support in the preparation of reports, e.g. in-house flora lists
- Preparation of samples for internal microbiological identification
- Support in the administration of GxP documents, including provision and archiving
- Internal and external communication, e.g. with laboratory services
- GMP-compliant documentation of all work steps
- Support with laboratory organization, material preparation and cleaning activities
- Performance of additional supporting tasks as required
For candidates with completed vocational training or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant natural science field:
- Execution of preparative activities for the determination of microbial counts in process water and incoming goods inspection
- Execution of document reviews
- Review of results according to the four-eyes principle
- Release testing of finished products
Education
- Ongoing studies in microbiology, biology, biotechnology or a comparable field of study
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Careful and structured working style
- Interest in working in a regulated GMP environment
- Proficient in MS Office
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
Physical Requirements
Pay Transparency:
The annual base salary for this position is €16,000.00. Total target compensation is determined using objective and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, market benchmarks, geographic location, and the scope and responsibilities of the role.
This position may be eligible for variable compensation and other incentive programs in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans within the country of employment. In addition, team members are eligible to participate in the company’s benefits and total rewards programs applicable to their location and employment status.
