Job Summary
This position is responsible for processing, analyzing, and improving key performance indicators and supply chain-related statistics for the site, managing master data, and supporting production planning activities. Close collaboration with other West sites and global procurement groups is also required to manage network-controlled materials and meet customer demand.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Creation, maintenance, and tracking of material-specific master data and material records
- Processing, analysis, and improvement of key performance indicators (e.g., OTIF – On-Time In-Full)
- Preparation, analysis, and evaluation of supply chain-related presentations and statistics (e.g., monthly inventory review, capacity utilization reports)
- Processing and support in the provision and production of sample materials
- Monitoring customer order deadlines, external services, and supplier purchase orders to optimize delivery reliability
- Ensuring production planning aligns with specifications, delivery dates, and quality requirements, and adjusting plans appropriately in case of disruptions
- Planning, controlling, and procuring raw materials in consideration of supplier lead times and minimum order quantities within MES and SAP systems
- Collaboration with Global Supply Chain and other West sites in managing network-controlled materials and tracking customer demand
Education
- Successfully completed commercial vocational training or a degree in Business Administration or a related field
Work Experience
- Initial professional experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Production Planning
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Good knowledge of SAP, MES systems, and MS Office
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Independent working style with strong goal and solution orientation
- High level of teamwork and customer orientation
