Job Summary

 

In this full-time onsite role, you will be a part of the West IL Supply Chain team and in charge of customers’ sales orders placement and confirmation, sale orders administration, and customers Q&A support, as well as supporting various Supply Chain activities as required. This role is the core facilitator of the logistics activity of the West Israel sites, responsible for the flow of goods in and out of the subcontractor’s production lines, the 3PL storage, and the transportation in between. This role is responsible for the reporting of subcontractors’ activity in West systems 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • End to End follow-up over contract review process and orders confirmation, proactively push for approvals.
  • Managing and communicating to West IL’s customers in supply changes related to order fulfillment
  • Ensure efficient and timely communication with customers, both internal and external
  • Placing and tracking purchase orders to sub-contractors for finished goods
  • Generating and maintaining SO and contract review process in the ERP system
  • Follow compliance with regulatory requirements with regards to customers and orders management
  • Planning and controlling the execution of WIL subcontractors production to deliver customers orders on time and in full
  • Generating and maintaining WO and production purchase orders in the ERP system
  • Plans, examines, analyzes, and evaluates production operations
  • Contributes to continuous process improvement efforts to reduce scrap, cycle times, improve efficiency, and eliminate waste
  • Oversee all procurement and ensure purchasing is cost effective and timely
  • Plan and schedule work in order to mitigate long lead times and maximise utilization
  • Ensure SAP materials are accurate by scheduling and managing regular inventory counts

Education

 

  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor's Degree Business or relevant field preferred

Work Experience

 

  • Minimum 3 years Purchasing, Production Planning, Analyst, required
  • Manufacturing Operations experience preferred

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 

  • Order and organization
  • Motivated team player
  • Experience with SAP – (advantage)
  • Relevant work history and/or experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

License and Certifications

 

  • Manufacturing\Forklift Certification within 30 Days required

Travel Requirements

10%: Up to 26 business days per year

Physical Requirements

Sedentary-Exerting up to 10lbs/4kgs of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
