Mechanical Facility Engineer

Department: Maintenance

Job Summary

In this role, you will organize, plan, and realize preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with the relevant SOP. Planning, Project management and realization and supervision of investment activities are part of your activities as well.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepares all necessary SOIs to ensure proper operation of facility equipment used in the plant and performs technical supervision of maintenance technicians.
  • Organizes and manages the daily operation and maintenance of the following systems:
    • HVAC systems
    • Systems for the distribution of potable and sanitary water
    • Flammable substances storage
    • Sprinkler systems
    • Technical gases storage
    • All mechanical installation and fittings for buildings
    • CA and vacuum production and distribution systems
  • Supports the Department Manager in daily supervision and organization of facility maintenance activities and cooperates closely with the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Maintains records of all repairs, modifications, and reconstructions of facility equipment within the plant.
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with applicable legislation, regulations, and standards related to facility equipment, including:
    • Law on Planning and Construction
    • Environmental protection
    • Fire protection safety
  • Responsible for maintaining technical documentation related to facility equipment.
  • Cooperates directly with environmental protection and fire safety inspectors and ensures that all installations operate in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Reports to the direct superior on regulatory changes and proposes actions to ensure alignment with legal requirements. Coordinates with ministries and relevant authorities to obtain necessary approvals, permits, decisions, and requirements.
  • Develops spare parts and technical material requirements plans for facility equipment and initiates purchase requisitions accordingly.
  • Performs technical acceptance of spare parts and materials and maintains inventory and consumption records.
  • Cooperates directly with external contractors involved in new facility development, reconstructions, equipment installation, and repairs.
  • Prepares reports and analyses on equipment condition, actively participates in troubleshooting, and proposes preventive maintenance measures and SOI improvements.
  • Participates in investment projects, including planning, project management, execution, and supervision.
  • Participates in the planning and execution of facility equipment overhauls.
  • Responsible for calibration of measuring equipment in accordance with relevant ESOP procedures.
  • Responsible for the SAP PM module related to facility equipment.
  • Together with the Maintenance Supervisor, responsible for implementation of Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE), and Fire Protection measures in daily operations.
  • Represents the Department during customer and internal audits.

Your Profile

  • University degree - Mechanical engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience at same or similar jobs
  • English language knowledge (Intermediate level minimum)
  • Computer skills (MS Office, AutoCAD 2D)
