Job Summary

This role supports employee training activities, including maintaining training materials, documentation, competency assessments, certification records, and training system data. It works with leaders and stakeholders to help ensure training is completed, compliant with GMP/GDP and operational requirements, and aligned with business needs. The role also supports training updates, data review, skill gap identification, and continuous improvement activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own and manage assigned areas of the employee training system, including training material development and documentation, competency frameworks, certification, and practical assessment processes.
  • Oversee and collaborate with stakeholders to establish and maintain training standards and governance to ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, and business/operational requirements. Analyze training matrix data and develop performance metrics to identify skill gaps, measure training effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct and facilitate training and competency assessments using various methods (e.g., classroom, on-the-job, one-on-one coaching) in accordance with approved training materials.
  • Coordinate with department heads and people managers to align training initiatives with business objectives through structured training needs analysis and implementation processes.
  • Regularly update training programs to reflect changes in company policies, procedures, and technologies.
  • Maintain production training documentation and related materials to meet audit, compliance, and employee training requirements. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall training system effectiveness and operational performance.
  • Provide support in training systems, digital transformation, and continuous improvement activities as needed to help ensure continuity of operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education

  • Recognized bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering with 0 to 1 years of relevant work experience.
  • Completion of a Train-The-Trainer (TTT) course or equivalent certification will be advantageous.
  • Completion of a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt will be advantageous.
  • Exposure in ERP Systems (SAP S/4 HANA, MES) and Project Management will be advantageous.

Work Experience

  • Able to strictly adhere with all relevant standard operating procedures as per Company policy
  • Support and contribute to Lean Six Sigma (LSS) programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
  • Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
  • Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times
    • GMP/GDP Compliance and Application for all work processes, Job-related SOI/WIs, as assigned in Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Demonstrate communication, training and leadership skills desired in a role

Physical Requirements

Medium-Exerting up to 50lb/22kg of force occasionally and/or up to 20lbs/9kg of force frequently, and/or up to 10lbs/4kgs of force constantly to move objects.

Additional Requirements

  • Noise level in the work environment is usually light to moderate. Hearing protection is required.
  • Frequently required to stand for long period of time
  • Regularly uses hands and fingers to handle and operate machine controls, objects, tools and jigs
  • Must be able to understand direction and adhere to established procedures
  • 20/30 Vision minimum, at near and/or far with at least one eye with or without corrective lenses and no color deficiency
  • Maybe required to work overtime and/or irregular hours and/or on irregular days to complete assignments and meet business needs
