This is an onsite position.

 

Job Summary

Your primary responsibilities will be to ensure the optimization of existing vision inspection systems on the production line, as well as to support production in day-to-day operations. You will become part of the Engineering Department and work closely with the other four members of the Vision team. You can look forward to becoming an important internal focal point within the company, and there are many vision-related projects in the pipeline.

West Pharmaceutical offers an introduction program with thorough training in the vision system. You will be reporting to the Vision & Data Team Leader.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operation, maintenance, and improvement of the company’s existing machine vision system
  • Data analysis
  • Documentation and validation
  • Preparation and updating of SOIs (Standard Operating Instructions)
  • Handling of incidents

Education

  • IT background, or completed training as an engineer or similar

Work Experience

  • Minimum 3 years related experience required
  • Experience with configuration and parameterization of vision quality control systems in production is a plus

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Interest in IT and understanding of digital images (pixels, grayscale, Deep Learning, etc.)
  • Knowledge of the sub-components in a vision system (PCs, lighting principles, and camera principles) is an advantage
  • Fluent Danish and English skills
  • Preferred experience with the concepts: Change Control, GMP, URS, IQ, OQ and PQ, LEAN, OEE, and Six Sigma
  • Structured, systematic and independent work manner
  • Ability to come up with simple and effective solutions to complex issues
  • Maintain an overview of the entire process while also paying attention to detail
  • Drive, think proactively, and ready to take on any challenges that may arise
  • Open and outgoing, and able to interact comfortably at all levels of the organization as well as service-minded

Pay Transparency:

The annual base salary range for this position is kr472,648.00 - kr601,552.00. Total target compensation is determined using objective and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, market benchmarks, geographic location, and the scope and responsibilities of the role.

This position may be eligible for variable compensation and other incentive programs in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans within the country of employment. In addition, team members are eligible to participate in the company’s benefits and total rewards programs applicable to their location and employment status.
