Job Summary

Within this role you will lead a wide variety of mechanical, as well as pneumatic maintenance activities and some basic electrical activities on various pieces of equipment to maintain safe operations of equipment while maintaining production goals and quality standards. You will support and help other groups like Engineering, QA and Facilities in resolving problems, improvements, investigations etc. The manager will act as the "go to" person for the department, ensuring tasks are delegated and completed, passed on to the incoming shift, if needed. Communicating with managers, area managers/supervisors, and following up with emails to ensure a smooth operation during shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Direct workers in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment
Assist workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment
Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, work crew or production
Maintains time and production records
Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments
Observe work being performed by maintenance, engineers and contractors to ensure quality, timelines and maintenance goals are met
Manage and provide technical support to all shifts of equipment and building maintenance personnel

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Discipline

Work Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in automation background. Related experience in diagnosing and maintaining machinery for rubber sheet production, stamping of aluminium, lining and washing seals is a plus
Minimum 3 years of leadership experience
Experience with GMP, LEAN, and Six Sigma in a production environment

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Fluency in English and Danish both written and spoken
Familiarity with SAP is a plus
Engaged, motivating, and professional leadership style
Strong technical understanding and can challenge your employees on technical solutions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work in a fast paced and changing environment
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills

Pay Transparency:

The annual base salary range for this position is kr596,992.00 - kr759,808.00. Total target compensation is determined using objective and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, market benchmarks, geographic location, and the scope and responsibilities of the role.

This position may be eligible for variable compensation and other incentive programs in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans within the country of employment. In addition, team members are eligible to participate in the company’s benefits and total rewards programs applicable to their location and employment status.
