Job Summary

Are you motivated by a position where you focus on quality and laboratory work? Do you want to work in our chemical and microbiological laboratory, where analyses are carried out on raw materials, intermediates and finished products in a GMP regulated environment. Do you want an experienced manager who emphasizes openness and honesty as a basis for creating trust in the department?

Then you might be our new laboratory technician for West Pharmaceutical Services in Horsens!

In this position, you will report to our Manager for Laboratory Denmark and you will have daily sparring with laboratory technicians and chemists in our production unit in Horsens – which annually produces approx. 2.5 billion units. Your working day will initially include a wide range of tasks within the chemical & micro laboratory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Planning and performing the analyses in collaboration with your colleagues
Processing, reporting and approving analysis results, including entry into SAP
Participation in handling deviation and OOS results
Participation in qualification work for laboratory equipment
Use of analysis methods, including IR, AAS, UV/VIS, titrations and physical tests. Both internal methods and pharmacopoeial methods are used
General maintenance of equipment and commissioning of new ones in collaboration with a laboratory equipment group and an equipment specialist

Education

Successfully completed laboratory technician

Work Experience

0 - 3 years of experience required
Experience working in a laboratory or cGMP/pharmaceutical environment preferred

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

At a minimum, can read, understand and engage in dialogue in English
Fluent in Danish
Structured, detail-oriented and responsible person who thrives in an informal environment
You are very service-minded, independent and able to prioritize tasks
Have a good drive and good energy with a focus on optimizing and improving processes and the way we work on a daily basis
Emphasize collaboration internally in the department and across functions

Pay Transparency:

The annual base salary range for this position is kr366,300.00 - kr466,200.00. Total target compensation is determined using objective and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, market benchmarks, geographic location, and the scope and responsibilities of the role.

This position may be eligible for variable compensation and other incentive programs in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans within the country of employment. In addition, team members are eligible to participate in the company’s benefits and total rewards programs applicable to their location and employment status.
