Job Summary
This role will support team members, enable growth, provide high touch employee service, and be an advocate of West's culture and mission. You will be a trusted advisor to our departmental leaders, partnering to build and strengthen their high-performing teams and ensuring we are making the right people decisions. You will support our employees as a true advocate to help them grow and thrive. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action, and employment law compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide HR business partner support across all assigned business clients within designated location
- Support the implementation of global human resource initiatives under the direction of the HR leadership team
- Provide the appropriate HR support in the development and retention of talent, working in close collaboration with talent acquisition teams
- Provide HR clarification around benefits, payroll, HR policies and practices to employees
- Support stakeholders in initiating processses within the HRIS System
- Support HR in performance management cycles and in developing teams
- Site administrator back up for Learning Management System including scheduling online learning classes, tracking attendance and maintaining files
- Consults with managers and supervisors regarding employee performance issues and assists with the disciplinary processes
- Workplace planning to include assisting with and identifying personnel and training needs
- Uses data, statistics, evidence-based research, benchmarks, HR and business metrics to facilitate decision-making
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant business or human resources discipline required
Work Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience in an industrial environment required
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in SAP and MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluent Danish and English skills both written and spoken
- Interest in learning & development with technical affinity in systems, AI and virtual reality
- Creative mind set and thinking out of the box
- Team player actively contributing to positive team spirit
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills on different levels
- Works to the highest level of professional standards
- Self-Organization, time management and prioritization

- This is on onsite position requiring the team member to be onsite 5 days per week.
Pay Transparency:
The annual base salary range for this position is kr503.888,00 - kr641.312,00. Total target compensation is determined using objective and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, market benchmarks, geographic location, and the scope and responsibilities of the role.
This position may be eligible for variable compensation and other incentive programs in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans within the country of employment. In addition, team members are eligible to participate in the company’s benefits and total rewards programs applicable to their location and employment status.
