POSITION SUMMARY:
We are currently looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our technical and skilled labor positions across multiple sites within the United States. Responsible for identifying and attracting top skilled labor talent to West. The selected individual will partner with client stakeholders to develop, communicate and execute jointly on a recruiting plan unique to each specific requisition. Responsible for strategic recruitment plan development, project management, and recruitment execution to achieve seamless candidate and client recruitment experience.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a recruitment subject matter expert through the development and implementation of comprehensive recruitment plans
- Collaborate with clients and HR partners to develop a strong understanding of department culture, business strategy and talent profiles to deliver on the hiring needs of the business
- Proactively and continuously utilizes effective sourcing strategies (passive and non-passive) in an effort to build a network of high quality, diverse candidates for current and future openings.
- Conduct in-depth screens and assess potential candidates for level of interest, qualifications, compensation requirements and convert hard-to-find passive talent through understanding of the business and employee value proposition
- Use innovative sourcing techniques to engage and convert both active and passive candidates
- Partner with compensation and hiring managers to define attractive and competitive job offers
- Establish and build relationships with other recruiters to share knowledge, HR trends and experiences to execute best practices enterprise wide
- Accurately track and report recruitment activity data to support staffing metrics
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.
- Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
- Exhibits regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education or Equivalent Experience: Bachelor's in Business, HR or related field
- Experience: 5-8 years of experience
- Mix of agency and in-house experience strongly preferred
- Experience developing fully comprehensive sourcing/recruitment plans
- Ability to analyze job descriptions and candidate profiles to determine target profile needs and appropriate match
- Excellent consultative skills and proven success developing strong, collaborative relationships across multiple departments and levels
- Proven experience engaging high-potential prospects through targeted sourcing and cold calling
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems and social media channels
- Demonstrated success leveraging social media platforms to build candidate pipelines
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Behavior-based interviewing experience
PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- 5-10% travel
