Job Summary

The Solution Architect, D&T, SAP – Production Planning collaborates with Production & Operations to define, deliver, and support D&T-enabled business solutions. This role leads the design, implementation, and support of SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) with hands-on configuration expertise in MRP, BOMs, routings, work centers, and production orders. The position ensures seamless integration with MES, QM, and EWM to enable end-to-end manufacturing execution. Responsible for full lifecycle delivery, including requirements, fit-gap, testing, and go-live support, the role drives process optimization, continuous improvement, and operational excellence in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret complex business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP S/4HANA PP solutions
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve production-critical issues
  • Proactive “go the extra mile” mindset with high ownership and accountability for deliverables
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for optimizing manufacturing processes and system performance
  • Good functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (MRP, BOMs, routings, work centers, production orders, capacity planning)
  • Good understanding of cross-functional integration across PP, QM, MM, EWM, and MES environments
  • Hands-on SAP PP configuration experience (IMG), testing (SIT/UAT), and system integration
  • Ability to design solutions aligned with enterprise architecture, governance standards, and digital strategy
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills across business and technical teams
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in business-friendly language
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced, high-pressure, and global environments
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • High attention to detail with disciplined documentation and change control adherence
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with SAP S/4HANA innovations and industry best practices

Education

Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent experience.

Work Experience

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience required

10%: Up to 26 business days per year

Physical Requirements
