Job Summary

In this role, you will help make an impact on current and future team members, managers, and leaders. You will support the Employee Experience & Development (EXD) team in providing thought leadership in a range of areas including leadership development, employee engagement, change management and more. You will lead with a systems thinking approach and a holistic point of view that 'connects the dots' between these various activities and the broader organizational strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supports thought partnership and the design of learning experiences that anchor West’s efforts to develop team members, managers and leaders, and enable them to deliver their best contributions.
  • Collaborates with other internal consultants that design and facilitate high-impact learning experiences, consult with HR and leaders on organizational effectiveness challenges, and support local/functional learning needs.
  • Manages design and facilitation of learning experiences and supports the development of the EXD and HR teams facilitation skills.
  • Provides solutions and consultation on a range of topics, including workforce planning, performance enablement, leadership development, career and succession planning, strategic diversity initiatives, change management, and learning investment plans by identifying key initiatives required to address the goals of the business.
  • Deploys strategic competency models, cascading of programs, and reinforces enterprise-wide initiatives to achieve outcomes that support our current and future business needs.
  • Champions experiences across the employee lifecycle that help to advance the discipline of effective talent management practices while fostering a culture of openness, creativity, collaboration, engagement of diverse perspectives and experiences, and challenge bias.
  • Contribute to current learning and development programming / systems / tools / processes and strategic and tactical improvements.
  • Manages relationships with key learning service vendors.
  • Applies data and analytics, and looks for opportunities to combine data from different sources to create a narrative that informs leadership on the development of our team members, managers, and leaders.
  • Recommends and offers solutions on processes to assess the effectiveness of learning experiences.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR Management, Behavioral Science, or related field, or equivalent experience required
  • Master's Degree in HR, Change Management, Organization Development, or Leadership preferred

Work Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of Human Resource experience with leadership development, talent management, employee engagement, and change management.
  • 3-5 years facilitation experience with various group sizes, both virtually (TEAMS) and in person.

Travel Requirements

10%: Up to 26 business days per year

Physical Requirements

Sedentary-Exerting up to 10lbs/4kgs of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
