Job Summary
West Pharmaceutical Services is seeking a Manager, Digital Business Integration - HR Technology to lead enterprise-wide HR technology strategy, process optimization, and digital enablement initiatives. This role is designed for an experienced HR technology leader who understands global people processes end-to-end and can translate business priorities into scalable, modern technology solutions.
The Manager will partner closely with global HR leaders, Shared Services, Payroll, Finance, and D&T teams to define and execute West’s HR technology roadmap. The role will focus on modernizing and integrating West’s HR technology ecosystem, strengthening governance, improving data quality, and enabling People Analytics and digital workforce capabilities.
As Manager, Digital Business Integration for Human Resources, this individual will serve as a strategic liaison between HR and D&T; driving alignment, prioritization, adoption, and measurable value realization from HR technology investments across the enterprise.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- The Manager will lead the strategy, roadmap, and governance of West’s HR technology landscape, including core HRIS platforms (e.g., SAP HCM / SuccessFactors), talent systems, payroll integrations, time and attendance, and downstream enterprise integrations.
- This role will define and maintain a multi-year HR technology roadmap, aligned with business strategy and global HR priorities.
- Partner with HR leadership to identify and prioritize digital initiatives that improve employee experience, operational efficiency, compliance, and analytics maturity.
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of HR technology initiatives including requirement definition, fit-gap analysis, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live optimization.
- Drive process redesign initiatives by replacing manual, disconnected workflows with standardized, automated, and digitally enabled solutions.
- Advance West’s People Analytics capabilities, ensuring reliable HR data, reporting, and insights that support workforce planning and strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate emerging HR technologies (including automation and AI-driven capabilities) and provide informed recommendations to advance West’s digital maturity.
- Ensure tight alignment with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity standards, compliance requirements, and global data governance practices.
- Collaborate with global HR Shared Services, Payroll, Finance, and D&T infrastructure teams to ensure system stability, integration integrity, and sustainable operations.
- Champion structured prioritization and value realization, ensuring HR technology investments are tied to measurable outcomes.
- Promote adoption and change management to ensure technology solutions are embraced and effectively used across regions.

Education
- A bachelor’s degree in information systems, human resources, business administration, or a related field or equivalent experience required
Work Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project execution, process design, and/or HCM systems implementation
- Experience with SAP (S/4HANA preferred), specifically with Human Capital Management modules integration
- Experience in the integration of HR Systems, with payroll system, timesheet systems and Erp such as Hana S4.
- The ideal candidate brings deep functional expertise in SAP HCM with hands-on configuration experience in core modules. Must have a proven track record in HR process design, digital transformation programs, and large-scale system enhancements. and a master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, cloud HR technologies, or integration middleware is highly beneficial. Strong analytical skills, the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, and excellent communication skills are essential.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to manage change effectively, including strong interpersonal communication skills that can be adapted to various levels of the organization.
- Experience with Agile project management framework, including setting goals, creating sprint plans, tracking progress, and holding teams accountable for timely delivery.
- Experience and/or training in Generative Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, SAP BW/BI, Microsoft Power BI, and other tools in the Microsoft Fabric Platform or similar tools for process automation.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to logically structure issues and recommend best practice solutions.
- Mindset focused on continuous learning to maintain knowledge of industry trends, new technologies, and evolving best practices.
- Support the legal team’s IT needs, including compliance-focused solutions, secure document management, and data governance processes that strengthen risk management and audit readiness.
- Drive user adoption of digital tools and platforms by building strong partnerships with business stakeholders, promoting collaboration, and ensuring that solutions are practical, intuitive, and value driven.
